WELCOME TO THE FAMILY
Welcome to Coopers Optique- your new home for eyewear fun and fashion. Our Uptown boutique is the Pacific Northwest's destination for unique eyewear curated from top designers around the world. But we want you to think of it as your personal style shop. Because once we've fitted you with a pair of our marvelous spectacles, you become family. Many of our clients return again and again as they evolve their look or collect frames that express different aspects of their personality. Once we get to know each other, we can't help being on the lookout for your next great images statement.

Zac Cooper
Family has special meaning to me, because I'm living proof that the family you choose means as much as the one you're born into. I was raised in Nebraska by a family who chose me when I was just three months old. They always encourage me to be myself, and early on I channeled my personal expression through theatre and fashion. As a young adult I realized the world was much bigger than the Midwest and began to yearn for something more. I moved to Seattle in 2012 and the moment I set foot in Seattle- Uptown to be exact- I knew I was home. Being part of such a vibrant, expressive community gave me the boost I needed to pursue my love of personal aesthetics. This launched me on my optical career, and I began my apprenticeship with some of Seattle's iconic optical shops. I am always excited to take the time to get to know our clients and understand what their wants and needs are and still be able to show eyewear that push the envelope ever so slightly.

Owen Amenta
I began my journey on the East Coast, born in New Jersey, before moving to Florida, where I spent much of my early life. But my perspective shifted after traveling to Thailand and experiencing the vastness of the world. When it was time to return to the States, I craved change. On a leap of faith, I rerouted my flight from Florida to Seattle—a city I had never been to, with only two familiar faces waiting for me. The unknown was thrilling, offering me the chance to rediscover myself and start a fresh chapter. My passion for high-end fashion quickly became my niche, allowing me to express myself creatively while honing my skills in project coordination. But in 2023, life surprised me in the best way—I fell in love, got married within six months, and became a stepdad to an incredible 8-year-old girl. As one chapter ended, another began, leading me to the optical world, where I found a new passion for eyewear and fashion. Now, working alongside Zac, I’m excited to be part of Coopers Optique, connecting with the community and helping clients find frames that not only fit their vision but also reflect who they are. I can’t wait to see where this journey takes me next.

Lindsey McCormick
With a background in luxury retail, Lindsay moved to Seattle in Winter of 2016, where she ventured in boutique optical. Optical was an easy transition, finding the creative frame selection process & customized lenses to be a creative outlet; adjustments and troubleshoots as enjoyable puzzles. Alongside optical, she now does professional pet care as well as sales and management consulting. In Lindsay's free time, she enjoys spending time with friends, live music, and creative projects.

Katie Chinn
As a life long glasses wearer, Katie took to being an optician as a duck does to water. With over 5 years of optical experience, finding the right frames that will give you endless compliments is still a passion of hers! After the pandemic, Katie decided to move into the other end of the vision spectrum & now runs a low vision store through Lighthouse For The Blind. Katie loves spending her free time thrifting or watching art house films.
