Lupe first gained national recognition as a gallery artist. He exhibited paintings in 10 galleries across the country. He has since switched to photography. He’s had several one-person photography exhibits. Most of his published photography has been donated to social justice agencies to promote their causes.

“I’ve been an artist my entire life. I’ve always been fascinated with the creation of images. As a photographer, painter, and designer I’ve dedicated my life to visual imagery. For me, the creative process is the same, whether traditional or digital media.

Art has always been a kind of meditation where I attempt to find the deeper truths in life and relationship. I seek out the extraordinary in the common aspects of life that surround us all. My aim is to capture thoughts and moments in the form of images that remind us life is a gift. We share this gift for a short time, images help document our journey.”
